Capt. Brian grew up in Lake Luzerne, NY, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, where his love for the outdoors began. His passion for fishing and hunting carried him through his service in the US Air Force, where he had the chance to explore waters and landscapes around the world. After moving to the Tampa Bay area 27 years ago, he quickly fell in love with the bay and Gulf waters, dedicating himself to mastering local fishing techniques. He gained invaluable experience working alongside some of Tampa Bay’s most respected charter captains, first as a deckhand and mate, before establishing himself as a skilled captain in his own right.
Capt. Brian’s accomplishments on the water extend beyond everyday fishing trips. He has won and placed in numerous fishing tournaments across Tampa Bay, showcasing both his expertise and competitive spirit. Outside of fishing, he is deeply committed to giving back to the community, actively sponsoring and volunteering with organizations such as the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Wounded Warriors in Action, Veterans in Action, and Martha Mary’s House for Abused Women. His dedication to both fishing and community service has earned him the respect and trust of both locals and visiting anglers alike.
Specializing in inshore fishing, Capt. Brian targets Snook, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Cobia, Mackerel, Sharks, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Grouper, and other species throughout Tampa Bay. He is particularly known for shark fishing, snook action, redfish outings, and Florida’s tarpon season. His extensive knowledge of the local waters and seasonal patterns allows him to adapt trips to any skill level, making each experience enjoyable and productive. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer, Capt. Brian provides personalized guidance to ensure a memorable and safe day on the water.
